I love people. I love kids and babies. My passion is to capture the beauty of their personality in a portrait that will be cherished for years to come. I feel privileged to be able to work with kids and combine it with my love of photography.
In a nutshell, I adore: chocolate, laughter, coffee, traveling, music, my puppy (even when he eats my chocolate!), the color green, and flip flops. I think life is absolutely amazing and want to live each day to the fullest. I love God and thank Him for the blessings in my life.
My professional career in photography started at a young age. As a little girl I was intrigued by photography – I had my own film camera and took pictures of any and every little thing I could. In 2002 I got serious about developing my photography skills and worked as an intern and second shooter for a well respected photographer. Combined with numerous photography classes, this rapidly accelerated my skills, and I’ve continued to pour myself into my profession over the years.
I’ve also been blessed with the God-given ability to make kids (and parents) feel at ease. One of the greatest compliments I’ve received from parents is how comfortable their kids feel, and how much fun they have when we’re taking the pictures. I’ve found that making kids feel at ease is the most important thing in order for their personality to come across, which produces amazing photos. I’ve had lots of experience working with kids, as I’ve also built a business of teaching children how to play the piano. I started teaching piano when I was just 16 and it grew into a referral-only business.

I believe that inspiration, along with use of the latest technology, is key to capturing the most cherished moments in your child’s life. Each of my sessions is on-location (your home or local favorite spot!) and includes access to a variety of different set-ups and props, which adds a unique and adorable accent to each photo.
I share a little part of photography right here in the midst of Orange County and San Diego County, and hope to introduce the experience to you and the entire community. Catering to capture large or small family events is the focal point of my business, but to get a better feel of my story and this experience, I ask you to come and meet me, and enjoy a session that is always prepared with a personal touch and the warmth of a healthy home.
