FAQs

1. What should we wear?

Think “Christmas card”. Holiday colors are good, but yet, be yourselves. Try to avoid the all white and khakis look, try to add more variety and coordinate colors rather be all matchy matchy.

2. What can I expect?

After you’ve booked your session, you’ll then get a follow up email with a portrait contract you need to sign (session fee due at time of booking). Also at that time, I’ll go ahead and schedule your ordering appointment to proof your images and purchase prints, holiday cards, albums…whatever you want. I’ll also be in touch a week before your session to remind you of your reserved time slot.

3. How do I order photos?

About a week after your session, you’ll come to my studio to review the photos. At this time, I’ll walk you through how to order prints, holiday cards, canvases, digital frames, albums and other products.

4. If I have to back out last minute from my session, can I get a refund?

Sorry, the session fee is non-refundable and due at time of booking. Also, the special holiday mini-session rate only applies on the dates the shoot is occurring. Should you have to cancel and reschedule, a new portrait session time will be subject to our normal portrait session fee.

5. Will I be able to get my Christmas cards back in time to mail them?

Your proofing ordering session will happen within a few days after your shoot. From there, please allow 1 week for cards to arrive for pickup.
